February 1st update

Hello – this is John Mark, I just wanted to give you another update our development status. We are working hard to get to production.

We’ve made the registration builder / manager tool much easier to use. This will be in the next push expected in a few days. Now you can log in and create a registration system without having to go through all the steps you currently have to. You simply specify your event information, enter how much you want to charge (if any), and customize your confirmation messages. That’s it – a registration system is generated for you that’s ready to start accepting payments to your paypal account. Of course you can still access all the advanced features such as questionnaires, notification options etc that you currently have access to today.

Also – if you would like to use your merchant account just let us know and we can get you going with that. We are going to make the feature available to everyone after further testing.

We upgraded the WYSIWYG editor. It has quite a few bug fixes. We use a top-notch open-source WYSIWYG editor and modify the code to our needs. This saved us about 5 months of development!! As new versions are released – we will integrate, test and release the updates into the portal.

If you are interested in seeing a survey in use on a website – check out http://www.purethink.com/contact.htm
Click on the “Contact us online” link. You can see the survey takes the look and feel of the purethink website yet is hosted on expressplanner servers. We use the auto-notification feature of the surveys to alert us when the form is filled out and submitted.

Expect an update in the next day or so. We are getting close – and things are starting to get exciting.

New Features - More Users - And Allways Free

The ExpressPlanner development team has been working hard on the next release of the portal. We are in the process of updating the online tour as well. Our users have been giving us valuable feedback and it's helped us make ExpressPlanner easier to use and more powerful. We've added several new features including advanced registration notification options. Now you can choose which questions in your questionnaire and attendee forms capture emails, which can be used for auto-responses. We've also added the ability to duplicate surveys and registration systems. Our resource directory is now more focused on quality providers for event planners as well. Our user base has been growing steadily for the past few months - and so has the feedback and support requests - so we are setting up a new help / customer support system which should be ready this month. Our development team has been doing a great job - so we are taking them to Belize next week to show our appreciation and do so

Update - May 2005

This is just an update. Our development team is hard at work on version 2.1 which has many new features including a remote admin console for event planners. I put up some updated flash demos on the "Tour" area of the expressplanner.com website. Also - we still have some exciting news for our users which we hope to release soon!
